• I’m the Founder and Creative Director of Reset Studio, guiding its growth and nurturing our community with a deep commitment to honouring yoga’s sacred roots in India. Over the past three years, I’ve also become a mother to two beautiful children, which has reshaped my perspective on both life and work.

    Yoga is a deeply personal journey. It is a practice that touches each of us differently yet always brings us back to our core, our centre.

    Balancing motherhood with running a business has taught me the importance of compassion, patience and grace. Even though my teaching schedule has changed, I remain deeply involved in the studio daily and supporting my team.

    I’m honoured to serve as a Legacy Ambassador for lululemon Europe, and I’m proud to have Reset Studio featured in Condé Nast Traveller magazine. It’s been an incredible journey so far, and I’m grateful for the chance to keep growing, learning, and serving our community—one breath at a time.

    Since I was a wee, my mum would tell me to get on the floor and move; a big stretch and lion’s breath were her solutions for every gripe.

    I swayed away from her advice for years, then returned to yoga in 2017 and started my training by studying Bikram. I’ve since moved to a less sweaty practice (sometimes) and share a healthy mind-body connection within my offerings at Reset.

    In my classes, you will find laid-back movement for EVERY body. They are safe and inclusive, a warm space where no one cares how ’flexible’ you are or whether you can touch your toes.

    With a specific interest and extra training in anatomy and physiology, I recognise every asana feels different to everybody and aim to help you get the best nourishment from your practice. You always have a way of making a strong vinyasa class feel like I’m doing a dreamy yin.

    Hey there, lovely souls! I'm Jacks, your Scottish–American teacher, born in Cuba and raised in the United States, now living and teaching in Scotland. My life, and my teaching, has always lived in the spaces between places, cultures, identities and ways of being. That sense of in-between deeply shapes how I hold space.

    I teach yin yoga, yin reformer, all-levels yoga, mat pilates and reformer pilates, with an emphasis on slow, supportive, intentional movement that meets people exactly where they are. My classes are rooted in the belief that movement should feel accessible, grounding and human, not performative or exclusive.

    I care deeply about creating spaces where every body feels welcomed… across gender, age, body size, background and lived experience. You don’t need to change yourself to belong here. You’re invited to show up as you are, move how you need, rest when you need, and listen inward.

    Alongside my regular teaching, I lead the Yin Yoga Teacher Training at Reset, supporting students and teachers in exploring stillness, sensation, nervous system awareness and the quieter layers of practice that often get overlooked.

    At the heart of my work is an invitation to slow down, feel more, and reconnect… cultivating strength and softness, effort and ease, movement and stillness.

  • Playful. Energising. Empowering.

    Yoga has brought a lot of joy and calm to my life. I started to practice more regularly after experiencing some anxiety, which surfaced after 9 years of working in the community with under-represented groups in my 9-5 job. Yoga was always the thing that brought me back to my true self. I trained in 2020 to share that feeling with others. Most of my teaching is out in the community, sharing this glorious ancient practice with refugees and asylum seekers, young people in the care system, recovering people with an addiction and those seeking employment. More recently, I founded my own social enterprise, MOOD GIRLS YOGA, to share the practice with teenage girls and non-binary teens.

    My studio classes are playful and energising. I encourage you to explore and feel rather than perform; it's a hard thing to do, but when you get there, it's pretty blissful. Yoga is a different, more embodied, and empowering way of living extending far beyond the mat. Practice, feel better for it, and spread kindness around like confetti.

    I have been teaching yoga since 2019 and practicing for over a decade. My teaching is rooted in curiosity, responsiveness, and play. Practice for me is fluid and evolving. Rhythm, sound, and stillness all have a place in my classes. I am deeply invested in somatic exploration and the poetry of movement, meditation, sound, and breath.

    I’ve been fortunate to learn from teachers who continue to inspire me - Demelza Feltham, Helen Gillespie, Alice Grey and Norman Blair, among others - whose influences thread through my own practice and facilitation.

    At Reset, I teach Vinyasa and Yin, and I co-lead the 250-hour Yoga Facilitator Training with Anna Hodgart. My Vinyasa classes are creative and dynamic, with space for playful transitions and unexpected shapes. My Yin classes are mega slow - offering softness and introspection to support deep rest and deep listening. I am an artist, and my creative background runs alongside and within my yoga practice.

    Yoga has been profoundly healing for me, both physically and emotionally, and continues to shape who I am. I value inclusivity, creativity, and genuine connection with students, and I feel lucky to have taught at Reset since its early days. The warmth and care of this community continue to inspire me - it is as joyful to welcome someone to the mat for the first time as it is the fiftieth.

My classes are here to support you in uniting your breath, strength, and alignment on the mat. I believe Pilates feels as unique on each body as a fingerprint, and my passion lies in helping you connect with your deep core, strength, form, and flexibility. My intention is that you leave class feeling taller, more empowered, and moving with graceful posture. Every class we share will weave together breath, challenge (I love a spicy sequence!), and stretch — giving you a complete, full-body experience. With a background in dance, massage, sports, and beauty, the body has always been my world, and guiding you to move with ease and confidence is what I do best. I can’t wait to see you on the mat!

    I’ve been practising yoga for 10 years and am deeply passionate about sharing this sacred practice. I love guiding people through mindful, meditative practices that encourage curiosity and choice and leave you feeling like you’ve arrived home. Yin, restorative and explorative flows that encourage functional movement, mobility, and ease within the body are my jam, usually with a strong weave of meditation and pranayama.

    As a trauma-informed teacher, I will always encourage participants to listen to what feels good in their bodies, offering accessible variations for all bodies and abilities.

    My classes are suitable for all levels, including long-term conditions, injury recovery and pregnancy (please inform me before class starts of any special requirements).

  • My style of classes stem from the classical Pilates principles created by Joseph Pilates, with the innovation of contemporary exercises and spicy twists. My aim is to instruct a high energy, low impact class focused on deep core strength, precision, and fluidity, with every movement designed to increase flexibility, build strength, lengthen and tone, enhance spine health and nervous system regulation. Whether you’re new to Pilates or a seasoned practitioner you will gain body awareness from my classes and we will challenge your body together while supporting and motivating you. I aim to create a space for you to enjoy your practice, where you can focus on the body and switch off from the mind.
