Meet Our Facilitators

  • Legacy Ambassador
    lululemon Europe

Yoga takes on various forms for different individuals, but it's important to continue honouring and respecting its origins. Through movement, pranayam, and self-study, we practice and begin the process of reaching our core, our truth, and our centre—asana being just the tip of the iceberg.

I understand that much of what most facilitators have been taught so far has been influenced by colonization and does not properly honour the culture of India. Reset Studio is committed to the lifelong work of decolonization, and we will work hard as a studio to ensure that the value of India and its traditions is respected within our community.

I forever acknowledge the sacred traditions and roots with the deepest love, gratitude, and respect. I am always a student first, not a teacher.

I am not facilitating public classes as I expect baby number 2 in August.

Say hi when you see me hanging out and enjoying our offerings!

  • Nourishing, Playful, Informative

Since I was a wee, my mum would tell me to get on the floor and move; a big stretch and lion’s breath were her solutions for every gripe.

I swayed away from her advice for years, then returned to yoga in 2017 and started my training by studying Bikram. I’ve since moved to a less sweaty practice (sometimes) and share a healthy mind-body connection within my offerings at Reset.

In my classes, you will find laid-back movement for EVERY body. They are safe and inclusive, a warm space where no one cares how ’flexible’ you are or whether you can touch your toes.

With a specific interest and extra training in anatomy and physiology, I recognise every asana feels different to everybody and aim to help you get the best nourishment from your practice. You always have a way of making a strong vinyasa class feel like I’m doing a dreamy yin.

Hope to see you on the mat soon!

  • “My passion for martial arts led me to yoga because I was looking for a way to help my body move and recover better for my next martial arts class. Practicing both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and yoga has made me a more confident, calm, motivated, and determined person and helped me become who I am today, feeling much better in my body and mind. The yoga practice has also helped me understand and recognize negative thought patterns I sometimes fall into and become more accepting of who I am.

One of the most beneficial things I've learned from yoga and applied daily in martial arts training is the ability to control my breath and stay calm in some pretty stressful situations, both physically and mentally. When we manage to control our breath under stress, we can think and act more clearly and efficiently.

I believe that with a consistent yoga practice, we can all experience better performance, improved health, and greater peace of mind.”

  • Somatic. Experimental. Deepening.

I teach Vinyasa, Yin, Pranayama, and Meditation, which are heavily influenced by non-dual tantric philosophy and practices, embodied flow, and body-mind centring practices.

The classes I facilitate are often lab spaces where students work with a different practice tool or somatic enquiry—to play, move, experiment, and release into deeper awareness and contact with the Self.

I take the practice and teachings very seriously - but myself far less so - and I love silliness, laughter and realness in the yoga space.

I am committed to inclusion and accessibility in yoga spaces and honour the practice's roots as an indigenous South Asian wisdom tradition. I honour the teachers, sages, yogis, philosophers, householders, and practitioners—both known and unknown in history—who held, shared, translated, and developed these practices so we might benefit from them today.

  • Playful. Energising. Empowering.

Yoga has brought a lot of joy and calm to my life. I started to practice more regularly after experiencing some anxiety, which surfaced after 9 years of working in the community with under-represented groups in my 9-5 job. Yoga was always the thing that brought me back to my true self. I trained in 2020 to share that feeling with others. Most of my teaching is out in the community, sharing this glorious ancient practice with refugees and asylum seekers, young people in the care system, recovering people with an addiction and those seeking employment. More recently, I founded my own social enterprise, MOOD GIRLS YOGA, to share the practice with teenage girls and non-binary teens.

My studio classes are playful and energising. I encourage you to explore and feel rather than perform; it's a hard thing to do, but when you get there, it's pretty blissful. Yoga is a different, more embodied, and empowering way of living extending far beyond the mat. Practice, feel better for it, and spread kindness around like confetti.

  • Intuition. Curiosity. Community.

I've taught yoga for five years and have had a personal practice for over a decade. At Reset, I teach Vinyasa, Restorative and Yin style classes and pre and postnatal yoga. I've worked with and been fortunate to learn from excellent teachers, namely Demelza Feltham, Helen Gillespie, Alice Gray, and Sally Parkes. Rooted in curiosity and play, my teaching philosophy encourages students to seek a sense of self in their practice, promoting exploration of intuitive movement, pranayama, and meditation.

My Vinyasa classes are creative and dynamic; I love offering interesting transitions and curious shapes while honouring traditional yoga asana.

My Candlelit Chill classes are a blend of restorative and yin yoga - they are soft, still and nourishing and aim to guide students into a mindful state. My yoga journey has been profoundly healing physically and emotionally and shaped who I am. I'm also an artist and a former primary school teacher, and I find these two worlds to feed into my personal practice and teaching. @_annieyoga

I've taught at Reset since its early days, and have found the most caring, dedicated and warm community of students and teachers. I'm dedicated to fostering inclusivity and a sense of community in my classes, I really value getting to know my students. The Reset energy is so welcoming - it is as lovely greeting someone on the mat for the first time as it is the 50th.

    Expect:

  • Embodied. Meditative. Soft

I’ve been practising yoga for 10 years and am deeply passionate about sharing this sacred practice. I love guiding people through mindful, meditative practices that encourage curiosity and choice and leave you feeling like you’ve arrived home. Yin, restorative and explorative flows that encourage functional movement, mobility, and ease within the body are my jam, usually with a strong weave of meditation and pranayama.

As a trauma-informed teacher, I will always encourage participants to listen to what feels good in their bodies, offering accessible variations for all bodies and abilities.

My classes are suitable for all levels, including long-term conditions, injury recovery and pregnancy (please inform me before class starts of any special requirements).

Hope to see you in class soon! x

  • Holistic. Personalised. Healing.

I have over 5 years of experience teaching and 600 hours of training in Yoga, Meditation, Breathwork, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Pilates. Most recently, I have begun studying Herbalism. I have taught in many studios, corporate spaces, and universities from New York City all the way to Glasgow. I hope that through the combination of ancient teachings and insights from modern science, we can learn to live in harmony with the world around us while discovering our deeper purpose as individuals in this life.

My classes focus on returning to balance in all degrees: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I strongly believe when we are in a state of balance, we move away from living in extremes. Extreme lifestyles separate us from our true nature of being alive—Unity and harmony. My classes are a collage of philosophy, yoga, meditation, pranayama, and self-massage using the meridians from Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Each class is tailored to the students who join, with many options to keep those from beginner to advanced engaged. Above all, the practice of anything is meant to be something you're committed to—a ritual to bring you back to the values you wish to have in your life—and I hope the classes I teach inspire that.

  • Strong. Playful. Uplifting.

I have been practising yoga for over 20 years and teaching for the last 6. I teach strong vinyasa and yin. My intention with my classes is to get you out of your heads and into your bodies. Through this, we can find a little more harmony and equilibrium. Yoga can truly spark some light and joy. Expect to leave my classes feeling strong and buoyant.

  • Currently travelling South Asia! Promises to be back.

  • Engaging, Connecting, Energising.

Hey, I’m Ashley, a Pilates and yoga teacher. You’ll usually find me teaching early morning Pilates classes, the occasional yoga flow, or as a student. In my classes, I strive to strengthen the body and the mind through a modern approach to Pilates. I keep the focus on form and alignment while creating flows that challenge and engage. I aim to create a space for you to enjoy your practice, where you can focus on the body and switch off from the mind.

  • Prenatal. Accessible. Empowering.

I fell in love with yoga during my first pregnancy and was hooked on how I felt when practising, and it opened me up to a deeper appreciation of my body. I have taught yoga for eight years, including pre-and postnatal classes. It's truly an honour to be able to hold space for students during such transformational life stages, often the beginning of a lifelong relationship with yoga. Whether pregnant, post-partum or otherwise, I believe yoga is for everybody and am committed to offering accessible, welcoming classes for all.

  • Friendly. Neurodiversity affirming. Trauma-informed.

Hi, I’m Jac 👋 I’m a yoga facilitator from Glasgow who loves slow flow, yin and restorative practices. For me, these practices are what is needed in our modern, often stressful lives. My best hope for my offerings is that you get a sense of slowing down, connection and unwinding in both your body and mind. I hope to guide you into something that feels good rather than looks good. The long-term effects of slowing down are proven to soothe the nervous system; that’s what my practices are about. It’s a lifelong practice, and I hope you can take off the mat and bring it into your everyday life.

I’ve been facilitating classes in and around Glasgow for six years and working as a speech and language therapist within the NHS for the past 12 years. In recent years, my job has given me the privilege of working in mental health services, hugely informing my yoga practice. See you on the mat! x

  • Flowing, Joyful, Vital

Hey, Reset crew! I’m Ainslie, and I’m here to guide you through all the good stuff: intuitive movement, fun flows with a peppering of challenge, pranayama and a good old lie down.

I’ve been immersed in this practice for the past 12 years and have over 500 Hours of training. I’ve trained with many amazing teachers in Ashtanga, Rocket, Hatha, Mandala, Yin, Embodiment, and Reiki.

I love to see people explore their movement and breath, encourage them to make shapes they didn't know they could, or just give folk permission to rest.

I’ll be sharing a dynamic practice called Rocket Yoga, where we will explore a pacy Vinyasa that will make you sweat and feel invigorated with a sense of presence. This practice is fun and playful, with options for challenge or rest. It's a great way to begin exploring balancing on arms, heads, or hands!

My Vinyasa classes are explorative, fluid and inclusive, where I guide you to move from a place of joy and kindness. Life is tough enough, so let's celebrate your own unique physiology regardless of whether you can touch your toes. These classes will help you become more connected to your body, find ease in your breath and familiarise yourself with the regulation of the nervous system.
